Management Team
Dr. Petra Rück (CEO)
Dr. Petra Rück is CEO of t2cure since January 2010. Dr. Rück joined t2cure in 2008 as Head of Clinical Operations. Her previous experience includes the position of a project leader with ratiopharm’s Biogenerix AG, Mannheim, where she was responsible for a biotechnology project including the design and management of preclinical and clinical development programs, and positions in clinical research management at Pfizer and Intervet. Before that, Dr. Rück was assistant professor at Berlin University Hospital “Benjamin Franklin” (now Charité) and worked as postdoctoral researcher at INSERM, Paris. Petra Rück received her PhD degree in pharmacology from the University of Giessen, Germany, where she studied veterinary medicine.
Susanne Knigge (CEO)
Susanne Knigge is CEO of t2cure since January 2010. She previously served in this role during the start up phase of the company from 2005 to 2008. She continued as a legal consultant. Ms. Knigge has 20 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharma industry. She was active in several company launches and served as a member of the board. Ms. Knigge is managing director of stellacure GmbH, Hamburg, a company focussing on cord blood stem cells. Ms. Knigge graduated from Heidelberg University law school and is registered as a lawyer in Hamburg since 1991.
